Welcome to the Ashland-Boyd County Health Department

  Call the clinic: 324-7181

The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department is now offering the A.P.P.L.E. Seeds program to individuals and families in a 12-week group format encouraging social and "contagious health" through Microclinic International's

4 M's philosophyMeals, Movement, Monitoring, and Medications (as prescribed).

By participating in our fun, interactive sessions, you will learn how to eat better, move more, and lose weight for better health!

Classes fill twice a year on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to those with a doctor's referral.  The current spring session is underway.  Give us a call to be put on our waiting list for the next session!

Formerly A.P.P.L.E., the program was founded as a family-focused model to improved cardiovascular health and wellness for children and families living in Boyd and Greenup Counties, Kentucky, and funded for three years by the AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation's Connections for Cardiovascular Health.
