Pregnancy and becoming a parent can be overwhelming. With new changes come new worries, questions and stress. HANDS is available to answer questions and provide parents with support in developing the parent-child relationship.

Families receive information, learn about community resources and receive support through home visitation. Enrollment in HANDS can begin during pregnancy or anytime before the child is 3 months old. Services can continue until the child is 3 years old. This service is voluntary and at no cost to families.

If you are interested in learning more about the HANDS program contact the Ashland Boyd County Health Department at (606) 329-9444 ext 239.
